Problem

Architecture firms were struggling with fragmented project management systems that failed to

  • Integrate design files

  • Client feedback

  • Approval workflows into a unified platform

Design teams wasted countless hours switching between applications, manually updating files, and communicating changes to stakeholders through disjointed channels.

Client presentations required extensive preparation, with firms reporting an average of 12 hours spent compiling materials for each client meeting.

Additionally, version control issues frequently led to costly mistakes and rework, with one mid-sized firm reporting that 23% of project delays stemmed from miscommunication around design iterations.

Solution

I developed Design Blueprint Vault, a comprehensive web platform that

  • Centralizes project management

  • Client communication, and

  • Design presentation within a single, architecture-focused ecosystem.

The solution features a secure repository for CAD files and 3D models with built-in version control, alongside interactive virtual walkthroughs that clients can access and comment on directly through their browsers.

Drawing on my architectural background, I designed the interface to mirror the logical progression of design phases, creating an intuitive workflow that reduced administrative tasks by 68%.

Here's the result after implementation

  • Client approval cycles decreased from weeks to days

  • Presentation preparation time dropped by 87%

  • Project completion rates improved by 31% across the firm's portfolio
